The sun shines, the flowers bloom in colorful profusion, the sea sparkles like diamonds and soothes the eyes with a cool blue- green and calls to Lalita to paint...sometimes it is images of the lovely islands of Sanibel and Captiva on Florida’s west coast, or a certain place or memory of home, the beach, the boats and just tropical living that triggers the impulse to paint.
